This site was inspired by a chance encounter in the summer of 2003 with Julia Savoye Coletta, a former Radio City Corps de Ballet dancer. Radio City Music Hall is known as the home of the Rockettes, the world-famous precision dance troupe. Less well known is the Radio City Corps de Ballet, a separate group of dancers, who for forty years, performed daily on the same program with the Rockettes. Many of the images on this site were generously provided by former dancers and present a very personal view of life with the Radio City Corps de Ballet. Research and web design by: Beth DellaRocco 2004 Beth DellaRocco is a graduate student in History at the State University of New York at Albany. She has worked as a costumer for classical ballet companies including: Colorado Ballet, The Bolshoi Academy at Vail and the Royal Ballet, London. She curated the exhibit "Child Performers in Tap:1900-1950" for the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame and writes for "On Tap," the publication of the International Tap Association.
